Why to be
The original idea of Agriplan came from observations of what is happening around us and in rural areas: clearing of woods, increasing deforestation, misuse of exploitable land, sterilization of agricultural soils, pollution by plastic cans, food insecurity etc. In view of these phenomena that result from human actions, it is necessary to adopt a new awareness in the practices of farms in Africa to ensure the sustainability of land and availability of natural resources. It is in this dynamic that Agriplan was born. Thinking about a green economy model, the organization was born thanks to the commitment of a group of young entrepreneurs from Benin. It aims to create an ecological park through an intensive reforestation project, and the establishment of an agricultural farm following an organic production method and essentially based on the principles of permaculture
Based on a cross-cutting vision between food security and the maintenance of a healthy environment, Agriplan has five main missions for sustainable development:
1. Make available to the population organic agricultural products;
2. Contribute significantly to reforestation;
3. Invest to having an green and clean up environment;
4. Inform and train rural farmer on resilent pratices;
5. Train social and green entrepreneurs.
Our greatest motivation is to contribute to the greening of our environment as a green organization.
